This collage is part of a new series exploring the medium of woven paper. By layering and interweaving various images, the work achieves a distorted, almost pixelated effect. The source material for this piece is a collection of vintage Playboy magazines. By incorporating the nude figures of multiple women into the primary subject, the collage aims to represent the interconnectedness of female experiences. It suggests that we are all composites of the women we've encountered, influenced by our mothers, sisters, friends, and lovers. As Chaka Khan famously sang, "I'm Every Woman;” this piece embodies the collective female identity.
